Stony Brook, NY, December 10, 2025 - "Manna Seafood Blockchain Technology" is the focus of this webinar from New York Sea Grant (NYSG)'s Aquaculture Industry Resource Series.
On this webinar, Donna Lanzetta outlined how the Manna Seafood Blockchain Technology can increase transparency within the seafood industry and reduce fraud. The system is intended to streamline seafood tracking documentation, reducing a paperwork burden on distributors, and make it easier for consumers to identify where their seafood originated. It will also protect the commercial fishing industry by allowing their harvest locations to remain proprietary. Enrollment in the system will be subscription-based.
